Several years ago, Dave received instructions from the Lord that impacted his travel ministry. These directives were

  • "Turn the river back to Tulsa", meaning, Dave was to concentrate his efforts in prayer and, through the Family Prayer Center, in Tulsa, bring an outpouring of intense miracles, especially upon the innocent, such as the unaccountable children that fill our children's hospitals. There will be miracles so profound that the finest, most analytical minds of our day will have to say, "This is God!"
  • Press into God and prayer to bring a revival of soundness of mind and sanity: a revival of doctrine and truth that would merge with media, which would go hand in hand with the outpouring of miracles.
  • To minister to family: to take care of his own family's needs, but also to teach others how to care for their own family's needs.
Because of these instructions, Dave has ministered primarily in Tulsa at the Family Prayer Center, though he still honors outstanding commitments and ministers when and where the Lord directs him.

CONFERENCE: How should I best prepare for the conference?
Spiritually -

If possible, try to spend some extra time in prayer before coming to allow God to prepare you to receive all He has for you during the conference.  However, if this is not feasible, don't be condemned or pressured about what your schedule does not allow.

If this is your first Prayer and Power Conference, or if you are not familiar with Dave Roberson's ministry, you may find listening to and applying the truths taught in the teaching series 'Distinguishing God's Voice' as another beneficial way to help prepare yourself in advance.  This series is available under the Series section of this site.

We also highly recommend reading Dave's book, The Walk of the Spirit, the Walk of Power, if you have not already done so.  You can download it for free under the Books section of this site.  Or you can order a paperback version by calling the ministry office at 918-298-7729 and leaving a message with your name and phone number, letting us know that you would like to order a book.  We will get back to you as soon as we can.  You may also email us with your book request at: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..  Please do not email credit card or financial information.

Another resource available on this site that would be particularly beneficial for you to review and meditate on before coming to the conference is the '2021 Compilation of Prophecies.'  This is available under the Prophecies section on this site.  This compilation includes present-day speaking from the Lord that have come forth from the Body during this year.  The Lord is still speaking to His Body, and He is continually feeding us fresh manna to meet us where we are at and to help us prepare for what He has in store for our future.

Choose to push past distractions. Distractions are always present just outside the Holy Spirit's anointing, but the focused individual will get what God sent him or her here for.

Expect God to move in your life and come with an open heart.  Often people come to conference with a set of expectations regarding what they think the conference should be like.  Instead, come determined to allow God to be God in these services.

Come prepared to both give and receive from the Lord.  Be an active participant:  during the service in praise and worship, in drawing from the anointing, and in agreeing in prayer as God ministers; outside of service times in reaching out in fellowship to others around you.

Look for opportunities to connect with your brothers and sisters from around the world.  Fellowship with brethren of like, precious faith is a very significant part of these conferences.

Physically -

Endeavor to come to the conference well rested and aim to arrive a few days early, if possible, to ensure you have time to recover from travel and to adjust if coming from a different time zone.

Practically -

If you do not have a mobile phone, you may want to purchase a phone card upon arrival.

If you will be renting a car, try to co-ordinate flight arrival and departure with rental car pick-up and drop-off times.  Keep in mind that the time of day you pick up your rental car and the time you return it often must be the same in order to avoid paying for an additional day of rental fees or a long wait at the airport.

CONFERENCE: What should I wear?
Feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in.  There is no requirement to dress formally.  Services can be lengthy, so dressing comfortably is encouraged.

CONFERENCE: What will the weather be like in Tulsa in October?
Tulsa's weather in October is generally pleasant and mild. But this is Tulsa and the weather doesn't always fit the pattern.  We recommend that you check the Weather Channel or the internet a few days before you travel to Tulsa to help you prepare better.  The zip code of the church is 74132.

CONFERENCE: Will any food or refreshments be provided at the conference?
Breakfast -

This year, we will not be serving 'Continental Breakfast.'  However, coffee and donuts will be available before the morning services, Monday - Friday from 7:00 a.m. - 8:50 a.m.

Lunch -

During the conference, ample time is given for a lunch break, and there are a variety of restaurants and fast food places within a few miles of the church.  Many use this as a time of fellowship with friends and with the new friends they make, and others use it as a time to eat, rest, and pray.

Dinner -

The conference will end each day (Monday - Friday) before dinner time so that you will have your evenings free for fellowship, rest, or both.

CONFERENCE: Is transportation available to and from the church?
Transportation is provided between the church and the Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa Hills hotel.  This is the only hotel site where our shuttle vans will pick up and drop off conference attendees.  If you are staying at another hotel, you will be responsible for your own transportation to and from the conference.  Please be sure to fill out the shuttle service part of the conference registration form if you are staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa Hills hotel and plan on using our shuttle service.
Please note:  If you are staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Tulsa Hills hotel, you will need to make your own arrangements getting to and from the airport.  The hotel does not provide airport shuttles.  If you are staying somewhere else, please contact your hotel directly to see if they offer airport pick ups and drop offs.
CONFERENCE: What times do the shuttle vans run?
A copy of the shuttle schedule will be sent to you with your registration confirmation letter, and an additional copy will be posted on the bulletin board at the church.
CONFERENCE: What is the time schedule for services?

We start the conference off with our Sunday morning services: 8:30 a.m. (Teaching) and 10:00 a.m.  We also have an evening service starting at 6:00 p.m.  This will be the only evening service of the week.

We have two meetings per day, Monday through Friday:  The first one starts at 9:00 a.m., and the second one starts about three hours after the first one ends.  We will announce the start time for the afternoon service at the end of the morning service.

We do our best to allow the Holy Spirit to work the mind of God for each service.  Most people agree that they would rather have services that do not follow an exact schedule than miss out on something the Lord wants to accomplish.

CONFERENCE: I notice that there are morning and afternoon meetings only. Are there any activities organized for the evening?

No, the evenings are kept free for the purpose of fellowship, rest, prayer, etc.  However, the Lord has in times past prompted the organization of an additional evening gathering for a special purpose, and we always seek to be sensitive to His leadership.

CONFERENCE: If I cannot attend some of the conference meetings, is there a way to listen online?
We are not able to provide live streaming of the services, but MP3 files will be available after the conference for free download at www.daveroberson.org (under Weekly Services).  You will also be able to purchase CD's or MP3 discs if you prefer.

CONFERENCE, INTERNATIONAL: What are the immigration requirements for entering the US?
Anyone visiting the United States must complete a United States ESTA Travel Authorization Application online. The link is available at:  https://www.esta-visa.org.uk. The application can be filled out any time in the weeks or months before traveling, but should be completed a minimum of 72 hours before commencement of travel.

CONFERENCE, INTERNATIONAL: Can you provide me with a letter of invitation?

Due to tightened security concerns, we are unable to provide letters of invitation to people we do not personally know.

CONFERENCE, CHILDREN:

Although we do not provide childcare, you may take your child to the nursery rooms if they need a bit of play time.  A parent must remain in the nursery with the child, but the nursery is set up so that you can continue to hear and view the service.

CONFERENCE, CHILDREN: Is there a place for nursing mothers to feed their children?
Yes, we do have a nursing mother's room with comfortable seating and changing tables.

We′re about you.

• About you having a new revelation of how much the Father loves you.
• About you realizing all Jesus did for you.
• About teaching you how to let the Holy Spirit work God′s perfect plan in your life.

Although we cannot do this personally, we have done all we can to make the ministry material of Dave Roberson available to you. We′ve laid out a virtual buffet of audio teachings (mp3 files) and printed material (pdf files) for you to select from, and you can subscribe to receive our most current teaching letters and prophecies.

The teachings and ministry material are based on years and years of prayer, meditating and studying the Word of God, praise and worship, and fasting. Your call might be different than Dave′s, but we can assure you, what the Holy Spirit does for one, he will do for another. He will not give Dave something He would not give you. It′s up to you to secure your foundation and build on it through the grace and power of God, but we′ll give you all we can.

Are you new to the ministry? Start by reading the book, The Walk of the Spirit—The Walk of Power or by listening to the companion teaching series of the same name. Then listen to The Born Again Trail, volumes I and II; Tongues for the Believer; The Basics of Prayer; and The Love Walk.

If you have listened to Dave′s teachings and have already read the book, start meditating on the prophecies. You will sense the anointing while listening to them and you will find much depth while reading them.

A lot of people would like to ask Dave specific questions, but because of the directives he received from the Lord, he is not able to answer questions personally. We also are not staffed to personally answer all of the questions that come in, so we ask that you would check out our FAQ section. We will update this section from time to time with answers to questions we receive. Thank you for understanding.

The Scriptures. The Bible is the divine revelation of God, imparted to man through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is infallible and given to man for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness so that God′s people may mature and accomplish the will of God in the earth. (II Timothy 3:15-17; I Peter 1:23-25)

The Godhead. There is only one True and Living God made up of three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. All are co-equal and co-eternal. (John 1:1-5, 10-14; Matthew 28:18-20)

Man, His Fall, and Redemption. God created man in His image, perfect and without sin. God created man for fellowship with Him, but man rebelled against God and took on the nature of sin. The only way for man to be restored back to fellowship with the Father is through Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:1-5, 10-14; Matthew 28:18-20)

The Salvation of Man. The sin nature separates man from God, and man′s only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. Those who desire to be saved must believe that Jesus died for their sin and rose again; accept the washing away of their sin by the blood of Jesus; and invite Jesus into their heart and confess Him as their Lord and Savior. (Romans 3:24, 10-18; 10:8-10)

Salvation is an act of grace by which one receives not only forgiveness for sin, but also a new nature—the nature of Christ. Salvation cannot be earned or merited through works; it is a free gift from God to everyone of every race, color, or creed who receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. (Psalm 103:3; Ephesians 2:8)

Healing. Jesus took all of our sickness, disease, and infirmities into His own body on the cross so that we would not have to bear them. A believer can access the grace of God through faith for healing, receive divine health for his or her own body, and believe for the healing of others as well. (I Peter 2:24; Mark 16:17-18)

Sanctification. Once a person is born again, he or she should endeavor to live a life that is pleasing to God according to His Word and walk after righteousness, earnestly seeking after God and endeavoring to walk in their new nature, putting away the things of the old, sin nature. (Romans 5:17, 12:2; II Corinthians 7:1)

Water Baptism. Baptism in water is a physical action symbolizing a believer′s putting off of the old, sin nature and being identified with Jesus′ death; and then the putting on of the new nature and being identified with Jesus′ resurrection to the newness of life. (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; Acts 10:47-48)

Communion–The Lord′s Supper. Communion is an act of remembrance of Jesus′ body being broken and His blood being shed for the sins of the world. (I Corinthians 11:24-25, 28)

The Baptism of the Holy Spirit. There is a second work of grace, after a person is born again, in which the Holy Spirit pours Himself into the born-again person′s spirit. It is the infilling of the Holy Spirit that brings the power of God to a believer. (Acts 2:38, 10:44-46, 19:2; Galatians 5:16-26)

The Evidence of the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Speaking in tongues is a gift of God that should be earnestly sought after as evidence of the infilling of the Holy Spirit. This supernatural prayer language is what propels a believer into a greater walk of fellowship with God and a greater walk of victory. (Acts 1:8, 2:4; 10:44-46; 19:2, 6; Galatians 5:16-26)

The Church. The Church is the Body of Christ made up of people redeemed by Christ. Every member of the Church plays a vital role in the fulfillment of God′s will on the earth. (Ephesians 1:22-23; 2:19-22; Hebrews 12:23)

Jesus′ Return. Jesus is coming back to earth to gather those who have been born again to live with Him forever. (I Corinthians 15:51-52; I Thessalonians 4:16-17)

Eternal Punishment. Anyone who has not received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior will be forever separated from God and will receive eternal punishment with the devil and all his followers. (Revelation 19:20; 20:10-15)

This policy is based on the following scriptures:

And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:
And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
—Mark 12:29-31

A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
—John 13:34,35

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
—Romans 13:8-10

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
—1 John 4:7-13
